17th May 2012
The Centre for HIV & Sexual Health and Sheffield City Council in the UK are planning to make some noise for this year’s IDAHO.
The One-Minute Noise on May 17 is designed to speak out loudly and clearly that homophobia and transphobia are unacceptable and have no place in our society.
A number of key speakers will be present to pledge their support and call for an end to homophobia and transphobia both in the city and worldwide. Out Aloud will sing too.
The event will take place at the Peace Gardens, assembling at 5.15pm and starting at 5.30pm, with the One-Minute Noise happening about 6pm.
